With nearly 3,000 acres, Mallard Pointe Lodge offers literally any type of duck hunting that you can imagine—including green timber, cypress flats, field hunting and lake and reservoir hunting. The diversity and the beauty of the land at Mallard Pointe Lodge make it a duck hunter’s paradise. To ensure this superior level of hunting for generations to come, Mallard Pointe is proud to be a partner in the Federal Wetlands Reserve Program. This program is designed to promote and enhance wildlife habitat throughout the nation. As a participant, Mallard Pointe has designated 2,500 preserved acres that generate a variety of berries, nuts and seeds. In addition, over 800 acres of new trees and 300 acres of grasses have been planted to create even more feeding opportunities for waterfowl. Together this effort will only continue to attract ducks and all types of game birds to the area, including wild quail, which will soon be available for hunting at Mallard Pointe Lodge.
